Title: Patient Access Representative / Medical Front Desk (Entry Level) Location: Springfield, Missouri 65804 Schedule Options: Full-time or Part-time Choice between Day or Overnight shifts Compensation: 15/hr + weekly pay + benefits Overview: Exciting opportunity to join a large healthcare organization as a Patient Access Representative! This position does not require any previous healthcare experience ! A Patient Access Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients seeking services at our facility. This role involves assisting patients with scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and ensuring a smooth check-in process. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a compassionate demeanor, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Requirements: High School Diploma Experience in healthcare is not needed! Job Description: Facilitate all components of the patients' entrance into the facility. Completing Patient Registration, including insurance verification and appointment scheduling. Handling pre-certification and financial clearance including pre-visit collection. Collecting accurate patient data. Helping patients understand insurance benefits. Educating patients on their financial responsibilities, discussing payment options and assistance, as necessary Ensuring that the most accurate patient data/demographics are obtained and populated into the patient record. Important Training Details: Must be able to attend 2 weeks of onboarding/training from 7:45a-4:30p. Week 3 will be your scheduled shift.
