Manufacturing company in Springfield, MO is looking for an experienced Prefab/Fabrication Helper to join their team!!

Salary: $20 - $24/hour (based on experience)

Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6am - 4:30pm

Location: Springfield, MO

Summary: Assists skilled fabricators and welders in the production of metal components and assemblies.

Responsibilities:

• Material Handling: Transport and position materials and workpieces for fabrication and welding tasks.
• Tool Operation: Operate basic hand and power tools, such as grinders, drills, and saws, to assist in fabrication processes.
• Support Tasks: Aid in measuring, cutting, and forming tubing and other fittings as per specifications.
• Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

• Experience: Prior experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
• Skills: Ability to read basic measuring devices and interpret simple blueprints or shop plans.
• Physical Requirements: Capability to perform tasks that involve lifting, standing, and manual dexterity.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is desired.
• Additional Attributes: Willingness to learn, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
