Steel Tech Building Systems is a premier Metal Building Manufacturer specializing in engineering design, fabrication, and delivery of top-quality metal building and structural steel projects.

STBS has openings for entry level structural engineers and senior level metal building engineers. The senior metal building engineers will be responsible for designing or revising new projects using MBS software, checking designs, approvals, field technical services, and design development with our team.

Essential Functions:

• Engineering design of new projects (complexity 1-10) based on prior experience.
• Estimating complex jobs and reviewing estimator's work when needed.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet construction documents, contracts, and the governing building code.
• Review and revise design based on returned approvals and feedback.
• Maintain design, project documentation, and adhere to deadlines.

• Bachelor of science in Structural / Architectural / or Civil Engineering.
• Registered PE and or SE license is a plus.
• Knowledge of IBC, ASCE-7, AISC, MBMA manual, and AutoCAD.
• Experience with MBS, its database and program enhancements.
• Assist in updating and developing in-house MBS program is a plus.
• Experience of metal building standards.
• Strong attention to details and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
