We strive to make an impact while simultaneously building our skill sets, personal brands, and careers.**Success in the Role:** **What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?**+ Within 30 days of employment, expect to immediately make an impact!+ Start by leveraging your existing knowledge and experience to improve existing assets and collateral.+ Take the time to learn and understand our core SASE offerings and related products+ Assist with customer RFIs and RFPs in your area of expertise+ Begin to meet and network with peers and leaders across all the BU's+ Within 90 days of employment, create powerful and prescriptive assets+ Work cross-functionally to create collateral that drives product understanding and reflects industry best practices in the form of white papers, application notes, and solution briefs+ Participate in joint lab and solution development with 3rd party security technology partners+ Independently create and deliver product demonstrations and present roadmap sessions for customers and partners.+ Assist in driving product requirements based on a detailed understanding of customer requirements and competitive alternatives.+ Develop your internal brand+ Within 180 days of employment, start taking more ownership+ Design, implement virtual labs and exercises that reinforce best practices+ Design and develop hands-on workshops, including managing logistics, creating presentations, lesson plans, activities, and labs collaboratively and independently+ Develop and deliver technical product training to field teams, channel partners, and end customers+ Develop your external brand+ Within 360 days of employment, expect to take ownership of multiple SASE-related functional areas, including content, collateral, demos, and labs forward.**The Work:** **What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing regularly?**Your regular activities may be modified to suit your professional strengths and interests, but you can expect a variety of the following assignments:+ Create collateral describing a feature or solution behavior, configuration, and best practices+ Develop technical slide materials to serve as a foundation for training curriculum and intent on advancing customers' understanding of the product.+ Collaborate effectively with other staff to solve complex problems+ Competitive intelligence gathering, strategy analysis, and product teardowns+ Record and edit demo's to evangelize the value differentiators of the product+ Contribute to competitive battle cards and flashes+ Create and deliver short training videos for use internally and externally+ Be a trusted advisor to the VMware field teams and assist with complex customer scenarios+ Implement labs that provide sandboxes to internal as well as external audiences to evaluate feature behavior+ Provide competitive analysis for security features+ Drive test cases for customer Proofs-of-Concept and ensure these can be executed on customer-facing lab environments**What is the leadership like for this role? They are part of the Service Provider and Edge Business Unit (SEBU), which among other things, is responsible for developing and operating the VMware SASE service and products.The culture of the team is to be collaborative and impactful.
