The MLT/ MLS Program Specialist is responsible and accountable for meeting educational goals of the students attending the Cox Health School of Medical Technology. Responsible for assisting the Director of the school for operations of the School of Medical Technology as defined by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science (NAACLS). The Program Specialist assists the director in ensuring required education for Laboratory Services staff is completed within the designated time frame, along with researching and presenting continuing education opportunities for staff. Assists the director in providing department orientation.
