Position: Volunteer Program Coordinator (Remote, Part Time) with the Colorado Department of Human Services, Office of Aging, Adult and Disability Services (OAADS) and the Office of the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman (SLTCO). This is a fully remote, part-time role (32 hours per week).
This position is created within the Office of the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman (SLTCO) within OAADS to establish new volunteer ombudsman programs and rebuild existing volunteer ombudsman programs across Colorado. The Volunteer Program Coordinator recruits, screens, onboards and trains volunteers as certified Ombudsman representatives, ensuring alignment with state and federal statutes, regulations, policies and procedures.
This position requires LTC Ombudsman certification in Colorado upon hire, or to obtain certification within the first 90 days of employment, and the certification must be maintained throughout employment. Training provided by the Office of the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman.
