Technical Sales Manager - Ingredient Manufacturing - Remote

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of food and beverage clients across the world.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate ingredient solutions, leveraging a deep understanding of food science and formulation.
• Collaborate with internal R&D, technical services, and product development teams to support customer projects from concept through commercialization.
• Prepare and deliver compelling technical sales presentations and product demos.
• Develop pricing strategies, manage contracts, and meet/exceed annual sales targets.
• Attend trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events to promote the company and products.
• Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product innovation and marketing strategies.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Nutrition, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in B2B technical sales in the food ingredients sector.
• Solid understanding of clean-label, plant-based, or functional ingredient applications.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Willingness to travel (~25-40%) for customer visits and industry events.
