Supervise HVAC and central heating plant personnel to insure that all related equipment and systems are operated and maintained in a safe, efficient and professional manner. Size, purchase and supervise the installation of HVAC, steam generating and ancillary equipment in cooperation with the Director of Facilities. Solicit, evaluate, schedule and monitor contractual work relating to HVAC and central heating plant equipment. Perform routine work on HVAC and central heating plant equipment and ancillary equipment. Daily prepare and prioritize repair and maintenance work schedules for subordinates and insure the requested work is completed in a timely manner. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Supervise HVAC, Preventive Maintenance and Central Heating Plant (CHP) personnel involved with the operation, repair, maintenance and installation of air conditioners, furnaces, refrigeration units, steam boilers and water heating equipment.
