We're hiring an Site Lean Leader – Aurora, MO

Location: Aurora, Missouri

Future Path: Succession candidate for Site Leader within 3–5 years (ideally 2)

Are you ready to lead continuous improvement at a flagship manufacturing site? AFB, part of EBI's network of four divisions, produces pet food palatants—flavor enhancers that make pet food irresistible.

Our Aurora facility is home to ~100 employees and generates $160M in annual revenue. It's also undergoing major investment to become AFB's “focus factory” and company showplace.

We're looking for an Site Lean Leader to drive operational excellence, embed Lean practices, and help shape the future of this high-impact site. This role reports directly to the Sr. Director of Operations and offers a clear path to Site Leader within 3–5 years (potentially sooner for the right candidate).

What You'll Do

• Lead and sustain Lean, TPM, and Kaizen initiatives.
• Drive improvements in machine uptime, throughput, and reliability.
• Manage the Kaizen funnel—facilitating events and ensuring measurable impact.
• Coach and influence teams across the site to drive lasting change.

What You'll Bring

• 8–10 years in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Deep Lean/CI expertise (5S, VSM, SMED, TPM, Standard Work).
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and influencing skills with high EQ.
