Job Summary

The In Resort PSS Leader will lead a resort-based PSS team and be responsible for executing the PSS strategy through operational excellence, workforce management, and standardized service delivery. The role reports directly to the Regional Director and supports the GM/COO and/or Skier Services leader. The leader will focus on scheduling, hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, development, labor optimization, daily operations, and guest service de-escalation. Regular communication with the Regional Director will ensure continuous improvement in strategy execution.

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $52,000 - $60,905 annually
  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026
  • Shift Type: Full-Time hours available

Job Responsibilities

  • Implement the vision, strategy, and roadmap for in-resort Guest Service Delivery, including people, processes, and technology
  • Create a customer-focused environment to ensure an exceptional guest experience
  • Develop and manage processes and reporting to evaluate and improve service quality
  • Collaborate with resort leaders, business partners, and external stakeholders to improve service delivery
  • Monitor labor and service trends to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction
  • Manage local budget and expenses
  • Build a high-performing team focused on value creation, results, guest service, and leadership development
  • Foster a positive Guest Services organizational culture
  • Develop talent through succession planning and increasing high-potential employees
  • Provide objective, independent insights to resort leaders on guest service issues
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of high performers; lead by example
  • Demonstrate passion for Vail Resorts business and product
  • Exhibit learning agility, adaptability, and resilience in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate effectively and build relationships across all organizational levels

The pay range for this role is $52,000 - $60,905 annually, based on various factors.
