Regulatory Auditor (Field Compliance) Springfield, MO. Location: Springfield, Missouri.

You will receive formal and on-the-job training. As you gain experience, youll also gain increasing independence and initiative in the performance of assignments within established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct sales/use/withholding tax audits on Missouri businesses.


• Assist taxpayers in achieving compliance, as well as an understanding of Missouri tax laws.


• Assist higher-level staff in conducting audits, and independently conducts routine audit assignments.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major specialization (approximately 18-30 semester hours) in accounting. (Related professional experience may be considered for substitution.)
