# Manager, Category Solutions## St. Louis, MO 63100## Manager, Category SolutionsMinimum: USD $77,500.00/Yr.Maximum: USD $100,800.00/Yr.Market Type: Remote### **Manager, Category Solutions**The Manager, Category Solutions diagnoses and solves business challenges, creating strategic solutions through subject matter expertise, trend application, and syndicated tools through a Private Brand lens for categories at retail. This role requires the ability to become a subject matter expert in a particular area of retail where the associate understands what data is available to build a compelling, data driven story.**Responsibilities*** Creates insight driven presentations with actionable tactics and strategies; develops creative presentations with an eye toward story-telling, focused on flow, visualizations and headlines* Utilizes a broad range of data sources, metrics, tools, and analytics to identify trends and present insights to customers and clients* Demonstrates a student of the business mindset to develop and maintain expertise around categories, private brands, retailers, and the retail industry; develops unique perspectives on retail, consumer, and private brands through the creation of leading and predictive insights through a private brand industry and category lens* Demonstrates a sense of urgency and executes projects on time, effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously, and understanding priorities of working on the right projects at the right time**Qualifications*** Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree (Graduate degree preferred)* Experience Requirements: 4–6 years experience in relevant field (Food or CPG industry experience preferred)* Travel requirement: No travel requirements**Supervisor Responsibility**Direct Reports: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reportsIndirect Reports: Does not have direct reports, but may delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports**Required Knowledge and Skills*** Expertise in retail, CPG, private brands, and consumer trends* Exposure to category planning, category strategy, product development, and/or innovation* Ability to balance the big picture and attention to detail* Ability to deliver projects with excellence while flexing to changing business needs* Team player who can balance working autonomously while engaging the right stakeholders at the right time throughout project development* Confident communicator with solid oral, written, and presentation skills with capability to develop a compelling storyJob Will Remain Open Until Filled#J-18808-Ljbffr
