We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and successful Administrator to join our team. Spencer Place is a beautiful 38 unit assisted living in St. Peters, MO. RCAL or LNHA required.
Your Role as the Executive Director / Administrator
Americare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Executive Director / Administrator to manage the day-to-day operations of our Assisted Living Community / Residential Living Community. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a warm, nurturing environment that enhances the quality of life for our residents and our employees. As an Administrator, you'll oversee all aspects of community management, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
What You'll Do:
- Leadership and Management: Lead with a resident-first focus, prioritizing compassionate care and staff development to foster a nurturing environment.
 - Team Collaboration: Cultivate a culture of teamwork and open communication among all staff members to ensure exceptional care and support for residents.
 - Commitment to Excellence: Uphold the highest standards of care, with a focus on continuous learning and improvement to deliver the best senior living experience possible.
 - Fiscal Management: Develop and oversee the facility's budget, monitor expenses, revenue, and occupancy rates, and identify opportunities for cost-saving measures and revenue growth.
 - Community Engagement: Build trusting relationships with residents and their families, foster a sense of belonging, and engage with the local community to promote the facility's commitment to senior care.
 - Staff Recruitment and Development: Hire, train, and lead a dedicated team of caregivers and support staff, ensuring high standards of service and care.
 - Operations Coordination: Oversee and coordinate medical, nursing, and administrative activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
 - Facility Management: Manage building improvements and equipment upgrades to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
 - Policy Adherence: Adhere to and enforce policies that uphold a high standard of care and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
 
What You Bring:
- Licensure: Current state administrator licensure or certification.
 - Education: A bachelor's degree is preferred. Relevant fields include Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Gerontology, or related disciplines.
 - Experience: Must be at least 18 years of age and have a strong track record of successfully managing, leading, and developing teams in a senior living management role.
 - Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with residents, their families, team members, and the local community.
 - Knowledge: A deep understanding of healthcare regulations, medical terminology, and med management protocol, compliance, and standards.
 
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand, bend, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
 - Occasionally lift and safely transfer residents.
 - Vision requirements include the ability to see near and far with good depth perception.
