Assists in the maintenance of City grounds, inclusive of the sports complex & playing fields, parks, greenway areas, City-owned landscaped areas, and the grounds surrounding municipal facilities.
Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Park Maintenance Superintendent and the general supervision of the Maintenance Superintendent (Parks, Athletic Fields, & Grounds).

Physical Demands:
Performs bending and reaching to both ground level and overhead; lifts, carries, pushes, and pulls up to 50 pounds; must be able to hold and grip objects; must be able to stand for prolonged periods; must have use of both arms and legs; must have good lateral mobility.

May be exposed to extreme weather, dust or pollen, toxic fumes, chemicals or smoke, contagious diseases, electrical or mechanical hazards and extreme noise; May have poor ventilation; May work in confined places and awkward positions.
