Assembler Position

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Assembler to join our sign shop team. This position will float around the sign shop, working in multiple areas including faux paint finishing. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work under general supervision.

Essential Functions:

• Assemble various components of signs, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to specifications.
• Perform faux paint finishing on signs, applying techniques to achieve desired visual effects.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment used in the assembly and finishing processes.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist in other areas of the sign shop as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills.
• All Other Duties As Assigned

Experience/Qualifications:

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Preferred Degree: Choose an item. in ________ (if applicable)
• Certificate(s) or License(s):
• Years of experience: 1+ years of experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:

• Previous experience in assembly or a related field is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of painting techniques, particularly faux finishing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as assigned.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under general supervision, using established procedures and occasional independent judgment.

Regularly lifts up to 50 lbs.

Occasionally walks, sits and does computer work.

Independent Judgement:

Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
