Radiation Therapist Location: Springfield, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,166 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Clienttion Therapist Profession: Rad Therapist Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Clienttion Therapy in a hospital License: ARRT and RRA preferred Certifications: BLS from AHA only Must-Have Skills/Experience: Good communication skills Linac treatment experience: setting up and imaging patients Ability to learn Elekta workflows on the job Description: Member of the Clienttion Therapy Treatment Team who plans, prepares, and delivers prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients. Utilizes a wide variety of sophisticated equipment and devices. Performs related duties as assigned. Maintains effective communication with team members. Works well with others to deliver high-quality patient care. Experiences with specific equipment include Elekta Versas, Varian HDR, and Cyberknife. New Radixact will be installed by August 2024. Daily patient load is approximately 65-70 patients treated in the department. Follows standard protocols and best practices in delivering radiation therapy. Ensures patient safety and comfort during treatments. Stays updated with advancements in radiation therapy technology and techniques.
