Description:

About Snorkel

At Snorkel, we believe meaningful AI doesn't start with the model, it starts with the data.

We're on a mission to help enterprises transform expert knowledge into specialized AI at scale. The AI landscape has gone through incredible changes between 2015, when Snorkel started as a research project in the Stanford AI Lab, to the generative AI breakthroughs of today. But one thing has remained constant: the data you use to build AI is the key to achieving differentiation, high performance, and production-ready systems. We work with some of the world's largest organizations to empower scientists, engineers, financial experts, product creators, journalists, and more to build custom AI with their data faster than ever before. Excited to help us redefine how AI is built? Apply to be the newest Snorkeler!

About the Role

As an Operations Associate on the Supply team, you will be responsible for one core outcome: ensuring that supply consistently meets demand-at the right time, with the right skills, and at the right quality bar.

This role sits at the center of execution and requires comfort with ambiguity, fast-moving priorities, and cross-functional collaboration. On any given day, you may be managing expert contributor allocations, identifying friction in the expert onboarding and activation funnel, or acting as an internal SWAT partner to improve conversion and utilization across the supply lifecycle. You'll work closely with Delivery, Quality, Product, Delivery Operations, and Expert Contributors to identify the highest-leverage supply levers and drive measurable impact.

This role is ideal for analytically minded operators who enjoy solving messy problems, translating data into action, and seeing the direct results of their work.
What You'll Do

  • Ensure supply meets demand by managing and optimizing expert contributor allocations across active projects
  • Optimize expert contributor conversion through the onboarding, activation, and utilization lifecycle
  • Identify and resolve friction points that prevent contributors from becoming productive quickly and consistently
  • Build, document, and maintain repeatable operational processes and playbooks that can be quickly deployed across projects
  • Analyze supply and utilization data to surface trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Partner closely with Delivery, Quality, Product, Delivery Operations, and Expert Contributors to drive execution and alignment
  • Support quality and performance programs by tracking key metrics and ensuring operational standards are met
  • Build dashboards and reporting that provide visibility into supply health, conversion, and utilization
What you'll bring

Required Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in operations, analytics, consulting, program management, or a similar role
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive execution end-to-end
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally
  • High ownership mentality with a bias toward action and continuous improvement
  • Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets for operational analysis and modeling
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with data (SQL, Python, or similar tools), or strong interest in developing these skills
  • Background in a high-growth startup, marketplace, or operations-heavy environment
  • Experience building repeatable processes, playbooks, or operating workflows
