The Springfield-Greene County Health Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Seasonal Pool Inspector. (Position will work 40 hours a week for a maximum of 6 months - during pool season)In this position the individual will perform monitoring of public and semi-public pools and spas for compliance with local codes. Conduct routine inspections, re-inspections, and complaint investigations of water chemistry and clarity to determine compliance. Qualifications and Requirements Experience, Education, and Training. PREFERRED - Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in one of the physical or natural sciences; AND - Completion of at least 15 college credit hours of combined Math and Science;Working knowledge of testing pool chemistry for p. H and disinfectant levels can be substituted for directly related work experience. Licensing/ Certification.
