Car Wash/Wash Bay Specialist

We are currently seeking a Car Wash/Wash Bay Specialist individual to join our growing team. Ozark Chevrolet is looking for coachable individuals who want to work in a positive environment. Wash bay is a key department to making our dealership a success. For this role, we are looking for 3-4 weekdays and Saturdays. The schedule would be from either 3pm or 4pm-7pm Monday-Thursday or if you work Friday we close at 6pm. Saturday would be from 8am-6pm and we do provide lunch.

Responsibilities

• Wash vehicles
• Clean interior and exterior windows
• Vacuum and scrub interior of vehicle
• Clean engine and engine compartment
• Apply dressing on tires and tire wells
• Utilize special purpose cleaners to ensure lasting cleanliness of vehicles
• Operate all tools in a safe manner
• Report any safety issues immediately to management

Working Conditions

Shop environment where continuously exposed to several elements such as noise, intermittent standing, walking, and occasional pushing, carrying, or lifting. Also may have exposure at times to outside weather elements.

Physical Activities

The following physical activities described here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. While performing the functions of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, push, pull, reach with hands and arms, and frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must have the ability to move a moderate amount of weight, up to 50 lbs.

• Must be coachable
• Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions
• Positive attitude
• Valid driver's license, must be 17 or older
