Description:

Inventory Management Coordinator

Responsible for the flow of inventory into our DC's to ensure service levels are maintained at the DC's to our stores. Works with suppliers, DC's, and freight carriers to coordinate deliveries and expediting deliveries when necessary.

Essential Job Functions:

Responsible for monitoring supplier shipping performance and following up on late deliveries, partial receipts, factory backorders and, when necessary, expediting of purchase orders to ensure merchandise is received in a timely manner.

Resolve issues that arise with suppliers, DC's and freight carriers related to the delivery or stocking of purchase orders.

Collaborate with replenishment analysts, product managers and project coordinators with line updates, changes, level additions and stock adjustments to ensure all merchandise is received and processed by the DC's prior to the rollout date.

Act as a liaison between suppliers, DC's and freight carriers regarding all shipping issues.

Perform PO maintenance as needed.

Collaborate regularly with suppliers to ensure expected lead times are adequate to meet service goals from supplier to DC to stores.

Participate in all CPFR meetings with suppliers they are responsible for.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities:

Required:

Associates degree and business administration, inventory management, logistics or related field and/or equivalent work experience.

Understanding of supply chain management, inventory management, logistics or retail replenishment.

Good analytical and problem solving skills.

Good verbal and written communications skills.

Good Microsoft Excel and Word skills.

Ability to work multiple projects.

Ability to work with multiple departments, suppliers and freight carriers in a professional manner.

Ability to convey positive and professional image.

SRA score > 90; Excel Beginning score > 80.

Desired:

Purchasing, logistics or supply chain experience.

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or logistics.
