The 'To Go' position is centered around efficiently managing and fulfilling customer orders for takeout and delivery services within a fast-paced environment. The primary goal is to ensure that all orders are accurately prepared, packaged, and ready for timely pickup or delivery, maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This role requires close coordination with kitchen staff, delivery personnel, and front-of-house teams to streamline operations and minimize wait times. Additionally, the position involves handling customer inquiries and resolving any issues related to orders in a professional and courteous manner. Ultimately, the 'To Go' role is vital in enhancing the overall customer experience by providing prompt and reliable service for off-premise dining options.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills to operate point-of-sale systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a food service or retail environment.
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Experience using order management or delivery tracking software.
  • Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process takeout and delivery orders accurately using the point-of-sale system.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and packaged securely.
  • Verify order contents before handing off to customers or delivery drivers to prevent errors.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the 'To Go' station and packaging supplies.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to confirm order details and address any questions or concerns.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels of packaging materials and notify management when supplies are low.
  • Support delivery drivers by preparing orders for dispatch and providing necessary documentation.
