Location: Woodbury, MN
Compensation: $20.00-$23.00 per hour - paid weekly
Schedule: 1st shift | Monday-Friday | 7:00am-3:30pm

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Welder workers for a leading commercial door and hardware manufacturing company in Woodbury, MN. In this hands-on role, you'll support the fabrication of high quality metal components using MIG welding techniques. If you enjoy working with tools, interpreting blueprints, and building durable products, this could be an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and advance your manufacturing career. Read below for more information!What You'll Do as a Welder

• Perform routine MIG arc welding operations (no certification required)
• Operate welding equipment while adjusting current, voltage, gas, and feed rates
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan weld sequences
• Mark weld locations using rules, squares, scribes, templates, and measuring tools
• Clamp, position, and secure parts using jigs, guides, or fixtures
• Perform custom metal fabrication after training
• Follow documented safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment
• Support overall quality and customer service goals in production

What You Need to Bring to the Welder Role

• MIG welding experience or the ability to effectively operate welding equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Familiarity with measuring tools, portable power tools, and hand tools
• Willingness to learn custom fabrication skills through provided training
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials as needed
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow established procedures
• Self motivation and the ability to work independently or with a team
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
