Position: Contract Product Engineer - Remote
Duration: 3-6 Month Contract

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Contract Product Engineer to support active product development initiatives. This role requires someone who can quickly step in and contribute with minimal ramp-up.

Kitchen and cabinet industry experience is the top priority. Candidates must have hands-on product development experience related to cabinetry, cabinet hardware, kitchen storage systems, or similar products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new product concepts and support product development from design through testing
• Create and modify product designs using CAD tools and define materials and performance requirements
• Analyze test and operational data to validate product performance
• Support prototype builds and collaborate with manufacturing during production ramp-up
• Assist with cost optimization and value engineering initiatives
• Maintain engineering documentation including drawings, specifications, and ECNs/ECOs
• Work with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, operations, and manufacturing

• Experience in the kitchen/cabinet industry (cabinet hardware, storage systems, or cabinetry products)
• Experience in product development or product engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Experience with manufacturing processes such as stamping, forming, injection molding, or assembly
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
