The Patient Accounting Representative bills claims electronically, check for unpaid claim status, post cash, pursue self pay cash collections, scan documents, request medical records and/or provide customer service.
Responsibilities Assists the manager in all daily activities associated with the collection function. Responsible for collection of past due accounts from patients. Collection will be accomplished by conventional phone system, letters, and other correspondence to collect balances, arrange payments, settlements, and review discount qualifications.

Qualifications Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED. Preferred: Associates Degree. | LICENSE & CERTIFICATION: N/A. | Minimum Required: 3 5 years of relevant experience in Revenue Cycle and/or Epic Revenue Cycle applications.
