I'm partnering with a heavy equipment OEM at a key stage of growth to recruit an ambitious General Manager. This role will take full responsibility for site operations, ensuring efficient and effective processes, while leading the commercial team to drive revenue growth and broaden the customer base.

Responsibilities of the General Manager

• Collaborate with the Plant Manager to drive operational performance.
• Ensure production efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
• Drive labor efficiency to maximize productivity and minimize costs
• Collaborate with Sales and Finance to establish effective S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning)
• Lead the engineering team, overseeing all new product introductions and design activities while maintaining and supporting the existing product portfolio.
• Identify and implement cost effective design and technology alternatives to maximize profitability and to stay ahead of market needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients and distributors worldwide
• Attend industry events and trade shows to promote brand products and services
• Ensure the business provides precise and timely financial reporting, covering pricing, forecasting, S&OP planning, and various organization-specific metrics.

Requirements of the General Manager

• Relocation to Mount Vernon Missouri – Relocation Package Offered
• Strong technical and commercial experience.
• Degree Qualified – preferable in engineering.
• Proven track record in product design with market expertise in the Heavy Equipment industry. Previous experience with conveyors is preferred
