Provide fire, safety, and security protection for Mercys coworkers, patients, and visitors. Promotes and practices fire and safety prevention. Performs all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our Mission, Values, and Mercy Service Standards. Qualifications:Education:- High School Diploma- 18 years of age or older. Licensure:- Valid State drivers license- Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/ Security licensure as required (within 90 days of hire)Certification/ Registration:Complete Basic 16 hr Public Safety/ Security course within 90 days of hire (May be done as part of licensure) Officers in areas where there isnt a licensing body, Completed IAHSS Basic. Other Skills and Knowledge:Ability to read and write the English language. Preferred Qualifications. Education:College degree.
