Prime's continued success is a direct result of a corporate culture that instills and inspires each associate to remain committed to reaching the pinnacle of their inherent potential.Prime's EDI/Detention Associate ResponsibilitiesTransmit EDI data to customersAudit and fix errors in transmissionsReview of customer reports for accuracyAudit information in systemSubmit detention requests to customers as required by their contractsWork with sales and operations to resolve issues in obtaining detention approvalsPractice Company Core ValuesPerform related work as required.This is a remote position, on a 4‑on‑4‑off rotation, 2 pm‑2 am.Training is available and would consist of 6‑8 weeks in office.Qualifications RequiredKnowledgeBasic knowledge of trucking/transportation industry preferred, but not required. Prior customer service experience preferred.AbilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and conflict resolution skills, and the ability to execute logical decisions quickly. Ability to multitask in dynamic, fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Good computer and keyboarding skills with the ability to accurately type at 40 WPM. Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and the general Internet. Require flexible schedule with the ability to work rotating weekends as necessary.Experience, Education, And TrainingFour year college degree in a business related field or at least one year in a customer service environment preferred, but not required.Physical RequirementsMust be able to sit for a large portion of the day. Also needs to be able to multitask, talk on the telephone for extended periods of time and type efficiently.Working EnvironmentPrimarily indoors with heating and cooling regulated in a general office environment.
