The Transportation Analyst - Inbound supports daily transportation operations through data analysis and Transportation Management System (TMS) support. This role helps monitor freight performance, resolve issues, and identify opportunities to improve service and reduce transportation costs.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSAnalyze transportation data and develop daily performance reporting and KPIsAssist with Inbound/Outbound TMS setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting (rates, tenders, carriers, optimization)Support carrier performance tracking and compliance reportingHelp Identify cost-savings and process improvement opportunitiesPartner with IT, Finance, and Operations on issue resolutionsSupport Freight Audit and Pay programSupport transportation procurement and RFP exercisesDevelop internal and external partnerships related to O'Reilly's transportation networkContribute to the ongoing development and implementation of the Network Optimization StrategySKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCERequiredBS or AS degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Business Analytics, or related field preferred2-4+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations analysisExperience with Manhattan ATM (TMS) preferred, or other enterprise level TMSMS Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and working with large data setsWorking knowledge/exposure to DOMO, Snowflake, SCI, VBABasic SQL knowledgeWorking knowledge of transportation and supply chain systems (TMS, OMS, and WMS)Strong understanding of domestic transportation modes, including FTL, LTL, parcel and 3PL operationsAbility to review carrier and lane data to identify service issues, cost opportunities, and process improvementsSelf-motivated, able to multi-task and prioritize tasksAbility to support and contribute to the O'Reilly Culture ValuesDESIREDLean and Continuous Improvement experienceExperience standing up analytics programsPrivate/Dedicated Fleet experienceO'Reilly Auto Parts has a proven track record of growth and stability.
