The role

We're looking for a Chief AI Officer to own the end-to-end integration of artificial intelligence across 27North's operations, sales, marketing, and production. This is a senior leadership role with direct access to the CEO and real authority to shape how a premium manufacturing company operates in the AI era. You won't be advising from the sidelines — you'll be building.

What you'll own

• Develop and execute a company-wide AI strategy aligned with 27North's growth goals and brand standards
• Identify, evaluate, and implement AI tools across sales, marketing, operations, customer experience, and production workflows
• Lead internal training and adoption — making AI a usable, everyday capability for every team member, not just technical staff
• Build automated systems for lead nurturing, customer communication, quoting, and content generation
• Establish data infrastructure and reporting that gives leadership real-time visibility into AI-driven performance
• Partner with sales and marketing leadership to deploy AI in direct-to-consumer channels and digital campaigns
• Stay ahead of emerging tools and report regularly to the CEO on strategic opportunities and risks

What we're looking for

• Proven experience leading AI implementation in a business environment — not just theoretical knowledge
• Strong grasp of LLMs, automation platforms, CRM integrations, and no-code/low-code AI tooling
• Ability to translate complex technology into plain-language strategy that a sales team, a welder, and a CEO can all act on
• Entrepreneurial mindset — you move fast, own outcomes, and don't wait for permission
• Experience working cross-functionally with sales, operations, and marketing teams
• A genuine passion for innovation and a high tolerance for ambiguity in a fast-moving, founder-led company
