The Associate Provost for Student Success reports to the Provost/ Vice President for Academic Affairs and serves as a member of the Academic Affairs leadership team. This role provides strategic leadership and coordination for initiatives that advance student persistence, academic and professional achievement, and degree completion. The Associate Provost is accountable for the development, implementation, and continuous evaluation of comprehensive student success and retention strategies within Academic Affairs. The portfolio encompasses student success efforts from matriculation through graduation, including academic advising, academic support and learning services, the first-year experience, transfer student support, and other targeted support programs. These initiatives are delivered through collaborative, cross-functional partnerships with faculty, staff, and administrators and integrate both curricular and co-curricular approaches to enhance student outcomes.
