The IT Server Engineer II applies engineering principles and practices to develop, implement, and manage IT Systems throughout the Simmons Bank IT Infrastructure. They play a vital role in ensuring that Simmons IT systems function effectively and efficiently while meeting the needs of the systems end users. They will be responsible for troubleshooting complex technical issues and collaborate across the units areas to integrate, innovate, and drive productivity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities. Manage and maintain enterprise virtualization platforms and Azure IaaS, including capacity planning, lifecycle management, patching, availability, and integration with backup, monitoring, and network services. Own backup, recovery, and data protection platforms (Rubrik, Commvault), including policy configuration, retention management, recovery testing, and alignment to disaster recovery and compliance requirements.
