The Referral Coordinator is responsible for maintaining information flow in the managed care referral process for all contracted managed care health plans. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Qualifications:Education: High School Diploma required. Experience: Work experience in a physician's office or medical institution with exposure to managed care and primary care rules and practices. Other: Skill in exercising initiative, judgement, problem-solving, and decision-making. Skill in developing and maintaining effective relationships with staff, doctors, nurses, patients, and managed care representatives. Skill in organizing work to achieve clinic goals and objectives.
