Come be a part of our award-winning, nationally accredited Parks and Recreation team! There are a variety of opportunities at Springfield-Greene County Park Board special events. Explore the possibilities below and make your selections within the application. The Springfield-Greene County Park Board has two major annual events that require extra staff: Harvest Fest and the World Team. Tennis Springfield Lasers season. In addition, the Parks Department has a Special Events division dedicated to planning, organizing and facilitating year-round events. This includes working with local neighborhood groups, and managing the Cruse Dog Park. The Special Events division hires 1-2 Temporary and Seasonal staff members to assist with Dog Park registration and event facilitation. Harvest Fest runs from September-October. The Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park staff will begin to review applications and offer interviews starting in June.
