Oversee daily site safety operations on heavy civil construction projects. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EM 385-1-1, USACE, and company safety standards. Conduct safety meetings, inspections, audits, and training sessions. Identify hazards and implement corrective actions to maintain safe work environments. Maintain project safety documentation, reports, and incident records. Work closely with project management, field crews, subcontractors, and clients. Investigate incidents and support root cause analysis and corrective action plans. Promote a proactive safety culture across all job sites. Qualifications Prior SSHO experience on USACE projects required. Experience in heavy civil construction required. Marine construction and/or bridge construction experience strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and EM 385-1-1 requirements. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to work in fast-paced field environments.
