Job Title

Evaluates transcripts and enters transfer credit into the student information system (Jenzabar) for all undergraduate and graduate students. Maintains the transfer equivalency tables to ensure consistent and accurate data is being put into the system. Coordinates roster verification process at the beginning of each term/subterm; and grade entry at mid and final periods of each term/subterm. Constructs and maintains master class schedule for each academic term. Performs other student registration functions.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Oversees and manages the university's AI-based transcript evaluation software, ensuring accurate and consistent automated processing of transfer credit; troubleshoots discrepancies and reviews system-generated evaluations for quality control. Evaluates transcripts and enters transfer credit and degrees for students into Drury's student information system (Jenzabar). Maintains transfer equivalency tables to ensure consistency in transfer data and works with department chairs to determine course equivalencies as needed. Supports the advising and admissions departments by tracking in-progress transcripts, providing transfer equivalencies for prospective students, and alerting students of potential transfer credit from dual credit, AP, IB, and CLEP coursework.
  • Administers roster verification process after the start of each term/block period. Assists faculty in midterm/final grade submission and collection.
  • Manages Study Abroad and Nursing Dual Degree registrations and grade entry. Monitors current and future semester student registration to ensure students have obtained the proper permissions to be in an academic overload, and investigate courses that are flagged as repeats.
  • Implements scanning of registration forms and various student records pertaining to Registrar's office.
  • Works with Deans, Department Chairs, CCPS Academic Staff, and Graduate Program Directors to develop, build, publish and process changes for the master class schedule for each academic term Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer. Serves as liaison with CCPS and Office of Academic Affairs (OAA) to blend evening and day offerings. Assists Deans in efforts to ensure efficiency in course offerings and faculty load. Prepares final exams schedule.
  • Works with Administrative Computing to ensure all transfer work is properly added to students' records.
  • Enters coursework from hard cards into Jenzabar when an archived transcript is ordered.
  • Serves on the team that advises and registers all incoming students, including first-year, transfer, and returning students, beginning with acceptance through graduation.
  • Works 2 of the 3 commencement ceremonies each year.

Education and Experience

Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and six months related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
