We are currently seeking a Civil Engineer - Transportation to help serve our connection of clients and community in the Southwestern Missouri region.Your Primary Responsibilities will include: Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of transportation systems, including traffic flow, capacity, and safety considerations.Develop comprehensive transportation plans and strategies to address current and future mobility needs.Design and engineer transportation infrastructure projects, such as roadways, bridges, intersections, and transit facilities, using industry-standard software and methodologies.Perform traffic impact assessments and feasibility studies for proposed developments and transportation projects.Utilize modeling and simulation tools to forecast traffic patterns, assess project alternatives, and optimize transportation networks.Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate project findings, recommendations, and progress updates to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.Ensure compliance with relevant transportation regulations, standards, and guidelines set forth by local, state, and federal authorities.What you'll need: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Must also have obtained your Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification.Minimum of 2+ years of experience in transportation engineering projects.Proficiency in industry-standard software tools such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, VISSIM, SYNCHRO, and/or similar transportation modeling software.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiencesAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work effectively in a team-oriented environmentGonzalez Offers Competitive Benefits including: Competitive salaryMajor medical, dental and vision insuranceFlexible Spending AccountHealth Savings Account401KBonus programPaid holidays and generous paid time offProfessional developmentA team of creative and talented individuals to work alongsideGonzalez is a rapidly growing, dynamic, professional services firm specializing in civil engineering, construction management, and construction inspection.
