If you're ready to be part of a dynamic company with a rich history and a bright future, we invite you to explore our available opportunities and become a part of the Klosterman family, where tradition meets innovation in the world of baked goods.------Roles& Responsibilities:Supervise and direct work activities performed by engineering staffMaintain productivity while following rules and guidelines set by the Company/Union Collective Bargaining AgreementEnsure employees adhere to Safety and Best Work Practices including GMP, LOTO, Hot Work, etcCollaborate with representatives from other departments to achieve the best possible outcome for the company when issues ariseCommunicate effectively through various channels regarding safety, productivity, material handling and elevate concerns in a clear, quick, and concise mannerReview preventative maintenance schedules and identify ways to increase efficiency and reduce unscheduled downtimeMetrics Measured as a Part of this Position:Preventative Maintenance completion rate by Engineering Technicians (daily, weekly, monthly)Scheduled vs. Unscheduled downtime and costs associatedCore Competencies:Experience with 3 phase and low voltage power including 480vacExperience with fasteners, precision measurement tools, gearboxes, bearings, rotating equipment, and assembly/disassembly of machineryExperience Welding and FabricationExperience with photo eyes, prox. switches, etc.Experience with broad range of hand toolsStrong teamwork capabilitiesFamiliar with general plumbing using PVC, Copper, stainless steel, and black iron pipeAble to push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds and maneuver in tight places (in and around machinery)Preventive maintenance planning to plant equipment, machinery and facilities Commented [AL1]: Capitalize ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or other problems using schematics, drawings, manuals, multi-meters, etc. Troubleshoot AC and DC electrical controls and circuitsUnderstand PLC operations and troubleshoot from a nonprogrammer level.Hands-on front line leadership- willing to perform routine tasks, such as set-ups, cleaning, lubricating, and starting equipmentBasic proficiency using Microsoft Office applications Operate forklifts and scissor liftIT skills, must have utilized a preventative management tool such as FIIXEducation & Certifications For This Role:High School Diploma or EquivalentAt Least 3 - 5 years working in an industrial environment3-5 Years Experience in Management and SupervisionTeam Based Management Skills
