Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a travel job in Springfield, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiation Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/29/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Radiation Therapist in Springfield, Missouri. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role involves planning, preparing, and delivering prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients using sophisticated equipment, ensuring patient safety and treatment accuracy. Job Details: Location: Springfield, Missouri Shift: Days, 5x8, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (may depend on patient load) Schedule: 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week Required Qualifications: BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only; 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience in a hospital setting; experience with linac treatments such as setting up and imaging patients; ability to work with Elekta workflows can be learned on-the-job; valid radiation therapy license; good communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Elekta equipment. Additional Information: Member of the Radiation Therapy Treatment Team responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering prescribed radiation treatments using state-of-the-art equipment such as Elekta Versas, Varian HDR, Cyberknife, and Radixact (installing by August 2024). Candidates must adhere to facility dress code (scrubs: black). No float rotation required. Vaccination mandate applies, with approved exemption allowed for the flu vaccination from November 1 to April 1.
