Next Generations Pastor (Part-Time: 10–15 Hours Per Week)Pay and time off will be discussed with the Senior Pastor.Job SummaryThe Next Generations Pastor leads the church in discipling children and students (nursery through high school) to become lifelong followers of Jesus. This role focuses on building leaders, partnering with families, and creating environments where faith is formed, practiced, and lived out. Restoration Church is part of the Church of God movement and we desire someone who is willing to teach and live out the beliefs and practices of our movement.Ordained or licensed ministers within the Church of God, as well as individuals pursuing affiliation with the Church of God, would be strong candidates for this role.Key ResponsibilitiesSpiritual Leadership & CultureModel a growing, authentic relationship with Jesus and a life rooted in prayer and Scripture.Cultivate a culture of discipleship, spiritual hunger, and Christ-centered community among kids, students, and leaders.Teach and equip others to teach kids Scripture and the ways of Jesus.Follow the mission, vision, and core values of Restoration personally and pastorally.Discipleship StrategyDevelop and lead a clear, age-appropriate discipleship pathway from nursery through fifth grade.Help begin new youth ministry discipleship for a small but growing group of students.Create environments where kids and students are known, loved, and challenged to grow in their faith.Teach and equip others to effectively lead children and students into a relationship with Jesus.Leadership DevelopmentRecruit, train, and multiply a healthy team of volunteers across nursery, preschool, elementary, and youth ministries.Invest in leaders through ongoing coaching, encouragement, and quarterly training gatherings.Family PartnershipBuild strong relationships with parents and equip them as the primary disciples of their children.Provide consistent communication and practical resources to support spiritual growth in the home.Ministry OversightOversee all Sunday morning next-generation environments, ensuring they are safe, engaging, and well-led.Develop and maintain volunteer schedules and ministry systems (including check-in and safety processes).Plan and lead key ministry events such as VBS and camps both in state and national.Church IntegrationHelp kids and students engage in the broader life of the church through serving, worship, and community.Collaboration & Personal GrowthMeet with the Lead Pastor twice a month for vision, encouragement, and support.Actively participate in a small group and pursue ongoing personal spiritual growth.QualificationsBachelor's degree in ministry.Alignment with the Church of God (Anderson, Indiana) beliefs.Background Check.To express interest, please email our Lead Pastor.
