The Computer Technician shall provide quality customer service in support of all technological hardware and related systems in the district. The technician shall provide direct support for computers and networks deployed throughout the District. The technician must be experienced in working on computers, preferably with certifications in hardware and network support.
Qualifications: The Computer Technician should have extensive experience working on PCs, with Microsoft Windows, and with other related hardware or software. The technician should be formally trained in computer services either through a technical school or in the workplace. A+ certification is beneficial as would be experience with the basics of network cabling. Familiarity with tech support procedures is also needed.
Position Classification: Support Staff Fair Labor Standards Act Non-Exempt Supervisor: The Computer Technician reports directly to the Director of Technology and Assistant Director.
