The organization is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join the Radiation Therapy Treatment Team, responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering prescribed radiation therapy treatments using sophisticated equipment and devices. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of assignment and provide safe, patient-focused care while supporting related duties as assigned. Job Details Schedule: Days, 8 hours; minimum 40.0 hours per week Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA) only; ARRT and RRA Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Elekta; hospital Radiation Therapy experience; good communication skills; linac treatment experience (including setting up patients and imaging patients) Role Responsibilities: Plans, prepares, and delivers prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients; uses sophisticated equipment and devices; performs related duties as assigned Submission Requirements: All contingency requests must be on the submission form Additional Information: Flu vaccination requirements apply from November 1 through April 1, with an approved exemption required for all travelers; declinations are not accepted. Shift start time may be 8:00 AM4:30 PM or 8:30 AM5:00 PM depending on patient load. Patient population includes inpatient (IP) and outpatient (OP). Equipment includes Elekta workflows; Elekta Versas and Varian HDR are used, with Cyberknife and new Radixact installation planned by August 2024.
