Production Technician

Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair lift equipment and machinery according to established procedures and work instructions
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic assembly and disassembly tasks
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine equipment servicing
• Use diagnostic software, laptops, gauges, and testing instruments to identify equipment faults
• Operate equipment as needed to verify repairs and diagnose performance issues
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, schematics, and build documentation
• Assemble and disassemble machine components to manufacturer specifications using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized equipment
• Coordinate with supervisors and supply chain personnel to obtain needed parts and materials
• Load and unload equipment and components as required
• Escalate complex repair issues to supervisors or support personnel when necessary
• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and departmental policies

Production Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial, mobile, or heavy equipment
• Ability to use diagnostic tools, software, gauges, and testing equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, and basic schematics
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills
• Experience repairing lifts or similar industrial/mobile equipment preferred
• Forklift experience or certification preferred
• Exposure to dust, fumes, noise, oils, grease, and varying temperatures
• Must follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety-toe footwear and safety glasses
• Stand, walk, and climb approximately 90% of the workday
• Sit approximately 10% of the workday
• Frequent use of hands and tools to perform repairs and maintenance
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to communicate effectively and work safely around industrial equipment
• Complete a drug screen and criminal background check
