An employee with the responsibility/accountability for leading the clerical operations of the Food and Nutrition Services Department. Under general supervision of the Administrative Director; plans, directs, implements, and leads the secretarial staff of theoffice. Special emphasis on anticipating, avoiding, and correcting problems as well as providing direction, training, and leadership to employees. This role will assist the Administrative Director with research and special projects. Also has extensive knowledge of all office functions.
Education: Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience: Required: 5+ or more years experience in a busy office setting
Skills: Proficient in spreadsheet and typing skills. Knowledge of specific software to the job. Able to multitask and communicate effectively, clearly and with tact Excellent telephone skills- able to handle 80-100 calls/day Prefer knowledge of software specific to job
