In this role, you'll be at the center of exciting engineering and custom equipment manufacturing projects, helping ensure schedules, budgets, and project performance remain aligned from kickoff through completion.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with project data, forecasts, schedules, and reporting while making a direct impact on the success of high-profile projects across multiple ABEC locations.What You'll DoAs a Project Controls Technician, you'll partner closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, and Leadership teams to provide accurate project tracking, reporting, and analysis.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and update project schedules using Microsoft Project to reflect project requirements, milestones, and progress.Participate in project kickoff meetings to establish a clear understanding of project scope, budget, schedule, reporting, and change management processes.Support Project Managers with project budget management, forecasting, and ERP updates related to approved customer changes.Track project labor, material costs, and overall project performance against budgets.Gather and coordinate project information from cross-functional teams to create accurate and timely project status reports.Monitor project progress and performance using analytical tools and reporting techniques.Assist with cost reporting, project invoicing coordination, and financial tracking activities.Develop and maintain key project performance metrics and dashboards.Partner with Finance and Project Management teams to ensure accurate cost and schedule reporting.Support the development and continuous improvement of project controls policies, procedures, and best practices.Contribute to Continuous Improvement (CI), Lean initiatives, and process enhancement opportunities.Provide additional project support and analysis as needed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.What We're Looking For:Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in a technical discipline, Business Administration, or related field preferredStrong proficiency in Microsoft ProjectAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneouslyAbility to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalismPreferred QualificationsExperience in project planning, project controls, scheduling, cost control, or project managementExperience supporting large-scale engineering, manufacturing, or technical projectsKnowledge of ERP systems, particularly SytelineExperience within biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or process equipment environmentsExposure to Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma methodologiesWhy Join ABEC?At ABEC, you'll have the opportunity to work on innovative projects that support the global biopharmaceutical industry and help bring life-changing therapies to patients around the world.What You'll GainExposure to complex, high-impact engineering and manufacturing projectsCollaboration with talented teams across multiple global locationsOpportunities to develop expertise in project controls, forecasting, scheduling, and performance analyticsA culture focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and professional growthThe chance to make a measurable impact on project success and business performanceReady to Make an Impact?If you're passionate about project planning, analytics, scheduling, and driving successful project outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.DoneCompany Background:For over 50 years, ABEC has been a leading supplier to the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
