Manufacturing LaborerThis role involves performing a variety of general labor tasks in a metal manufacturing environment, supporting welders, machine operators, and metal fabrication workers by preparing parts, handling materials, and using hand and power tools safely and accurately.ResponsibilitiesPrepare metal parts and components for welders, machine operators, and metal fabrication workers according to specifications.Assist with material handling, including loading and unloading materials, parts, and finished products.Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to support metal fabrication and production activities.Measure materials accurately using a tape measure to ensure correct dimensions and quality.Support general manufacturing production tasks as needed to maintain workflow and meet production goals.Follow safety procedures and guidelines while working with metal materials, tools, and equipment.Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient and safe operations.Collaborate with team members and respond to direction from supervisors to complete daily assignments.Essential SkillsAbility to perform general labor tasks in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.Ability to use a tape measure accurately for measuring materials and parts.Proficiency with basic hand tools used in metal fabrication and manufacturing.Proficiency with basic power tools used in metal fabrication and manufacturing.Experience with material handling, including loading and unloading materials and products.Comfort working in a production environment with metal fabrication processes.Ability to follow instructions and work safely around tools, equipment, and materials.Additional Skills & QualificationsAny education related to the manufacturing industry is a bonus.Any certifications related to the manufacturing industry are a bonus.Overhead crane experience is a bonus.Previous experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing production is beneficial.Why Work Here?You will join a workplace that values continuous improvement and rewards performance through regular pay reviews at 30 days, 90 days, and annually.
